There are 3 main airports on Eleuthera, "See Map Right" North Eleuthera (ELH), in the North, Rock Sound(RSD) in the South and Governors Harbour(GHB) which is Central and around 6 miles north of the Governors Harbour town itself which is a bunny hop flight of approximately 30 minutes from Nassau airport. The international airport at GHB is large enough to land a Boeing 767. Various charter companies fly directly to Governors. Governor's airport is only a 15 minute drive to Myrtle Bay. Direct commercial flights available from Governors to Nassau, Miami, Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale are provided by Bahamas Air, American Eagle, Lynx Air, Delta and Continental Connection.

Charter flights are also available.
You can fly from Florida to the islands from as little as $59 US dollars. Our personal favourite route is via Miami or Ft Lauderdale, night at the The Townhouse off Collins Ave in South Beach, then out at lunch time from Ft Lauderdale direct into GHB.
